Aquiesse is a luxury home fragrance and lifestyle brandbased in California. We were called upon to redesign the brand's logo and identity. Our opportunities were:
- Communicate a sense of heritage and history that can be expanded upon to create a true sense of provenance and start building a unique brand DNA
- Create a proprietary font for the wordmark “Aquiesse”
- Highlight the themes “California”, “ocean” & “nature”
- Communicate an upscale brand aesthetic but maintain a warm, approachable feeling
- Balance artisanal, hand-crafted visual cues with contemporary clean lines
- Feel fresh and hip yet timeless and classic
- Not only looks but is truly authentic and honest from the inside out
- Bolster the brand credibility and exude confidence of a global brand
The final brand mark we created was timeless, elegant and modern and utilized three pillars as the driving concept, the idea of the California coastline (expressed through a sand dollar inspired silhouette), leaf (a nod to the brand's commitment to the environment) and a droplet in the negative space of the "A" (the very essence of fragrances and scents). With this as our driving inspiration, we extended these concepts and themes throughout the activation of the brand from packaging and promotional materials, to product and interior design.
Mopho is a family owned restaurant known for their bold flavors and Vietnamese cuisine. The name is a tongue in cheek wordplay on the traditional Vietnamese soup, known as Pho. With three generations of chefs in the family, the food at Mopho is unique, fresh and flavorful, attributes that they wanted to express in their branding to stand apart from other Southeast Asian Restaurants.
We designed a logo and visual identity for them which was young, modern, metropolitan and slightly playful with the "o" of the wordmark housing their signature Pho soup and chopsticks.
Hotel Balthazar is a luxurious boutique hotel known for their attention to detail, fine dining and exceptional service. They were looking to develop and update their identity in way that would not only reflect their heritage but also attract a new clientèle of savvy and stylish guests.
Drawing upon their existing heritage and hotel aesthetics, we created an identity system that nodded back to their history with a coat of arms, but rendered with modern sensibilities to represent the brand's bright future ahead. The color scheme of burnt umber and charcoal were incorporated in reference to colors that are synonymous with the region and seen in objects, architecture and interiors (such as oak casks, tapestries and castle masonry).
Get Services is a New York City based luxury concierge company, offering highly personalized services from private chauffeurs and personal assistants to more traditional concierge services.
When they came to us looking to rebrand their visual identity, we decided to focus on evoking a luxury lifestyle and highlighting the bespoke nature of their branding. The new logo is an intertwined G and S which locks together like the links of a chain, symbolizing the personal connections they establish every day and the invaluable resource they are to their clients.
Escapes is a luxury travel and lifestyle company based in the middle east. Their team approached us looking to create a branding system with modern sensibilities that targeted a largely affluent clientèle and was inspired by the beauty of travel, fashion and an effortlessly chic lifestyle. With a competitive environment already saturated with companies looking to target the same audience, it was important for us to achieve a brand identity that was unique, memorable and showcased a compelling differentiation from all other agencies.
We created a logo with a unique footprint: four interwoven keys, each with the letter "E" hidden within the motif. The result is simple, iconic and evokes the feeling of unlocking a special secret for those 'in the know'. The motif was then extended to a proprietary pattern that took the same principle of monogrammed patterns seen in high fashion brands, but usable on items like stationery, interiors, etc...
Tarsier Exotika is a botanical garden in the Philippines with a mission to educate and involve the local community in the arts and cultural events while also assisting in local wildlife preservation. The goal was to create a brand identity that was inspired, artistic and about a beautiful lifestyle while also harking back to nature and the wildlife sanctuary.
We created a logo featuring the iconic Tarsier, a small and rare marsupial that is indigenous to the island where the botanical garden is based. It proved to be the perfect symbol to the unique and quirky qualities of the brand. The logo lives within a flexible visual system that incorporates vivid color palettes and bold foliage graphics, a creative representation of the lush wildlife and ecosystem.

The goal was to create a logo and branding system that conveyed a sense of exclusivity, luxury and a quintessential New York feel. We created a logo rooted in tradition with traditional looking typography accompanying a key symbol that incorporates the iconic New York City Skyline.

We looked at inspiration in heraldry, private clubs and even the Illuminati for inspiration that conveyed a sense of mystery and adventure. House and Garden Secrets is a home and lifestyle company that specializes in connecting individuals with the most qualified and stylish experts for everything from home improvement and remodeling to gardening and landscaping services.
We wanted to create a brand identity that felt authentic and visually descriptive of the nature of the business. The mark was created using an antique engraved look depicting a paintbrush and trowel, items that symbolize the home and gardening in a simple and concise way.
We were tasked with creating a sophisticated and elegant brand identity for a New York based wedding planner looking to grow and expand her business in the luxury space. We created a unique logo that incorporated her brand name surrounded with flourishes which cue sophistication, finished with a crown, a visual reference to luxury and a regal sense of style.

From individual mentoring and coaching to workshops, Hissah provides an incredible range of services, specially designed to support their community.
Our task was to develop a bilingual logo and branding system in Arabic and English that reflected the concept of inter-personal relationships and community in an elegant and modern way. We designed the logo with concentric, interconnected circles that ripple outwards, a visual that evokes a nurturing feel while also reflecting the larger impact of Hissah on its community.
Milou is a high end full service pet boutique based in the Philippines. Their wide array of services range from bespoke services like grooming and daycare to retail spanning their own brand of pet accessories. Our task was to create a brand that was fun, fresh and lighthearted, with an entirely approachable aesthetic. The logo we created presents a dancing cat and dog in a hand-drawn quality, aspects which speak to their bespoke services.
The stationery and packaging of their products are presented in a palette of crisp white and punchy orange that perfectly complement the vibrant logo.
For a private client's 5th year anniversary, we were tasked with designing wine bottles and packaging as a gift to the company's global clients and investors. With many of them traveling from all around the world, we took the idea of the journey and transformed it into a modern take on vintage, old world travel.
The wine bottles were presented in kraft bottles wrapped with a large band made of fleece textured paper. The design features bold typography and graphic line-work reminiscent of antique world maps wrapping around the box and printed in rich brass colored foil.
